I am very comfortable behind a camera having had one in my hands since I was a kid. My formal education in commercial photography at the Colorado Institute of Art showed me many of the technical aspects of creative lighting. Shooting scenic imagery and landscapes has honed my appreciation of taking time to frame and compose a subject. Applying the technical aspects of lighting with the artistic nuances of composition I don’t just take a picture, I create a work of art.
